Welcome to the first installment of our new series “Top 10 to Follow” – in this first episode (a.k.a. article) we will focus on the buff and the fit, the yoga gurus and the heavy lifters, the dieters and the protein eaters – Fitness Influencers!
#10 Kemo Marriott (@kemomarriott)
Kemo Marriott is a Health & Fitness Consultant, a Coach, a Writer and a Public Speaker – and not only that, he’s also the founder of the Brotherhood Training Club. The least we can say is that Kemo is quite the ambitious man, juggling all of this AND working on his body at the same time.
On his Instagram page, he has 10,2k followers and stunning photography of different yoga poses and exercises. His approach to coaching and fitness, in general, is very aesthetic and pleasant, making even sweat seem like something you should aspire toward.
You can join his Brotherhood Training Club by going here.
#9 Rix (@rix.official)
At just the age of 25, Rix is experienced in Bodyweight & Martial Arts (Movement, strength and mobility specialist) and he holds the title of Head Coach over @BodyweightGurus.
If you’re a Vegan on the lookout for a fitness coach or role-model, then I strongly recommend Rix for you, as he built his own body on a plant diet.
On his Instagram profile, he has 39,4k followers and an array of different yoga poses, tutorials, and snippets from his sessions; all featuring overall stunning backgrounds. As far as spiritual Influencers go, I’d say Rix is all up in that Namaste!
#8 Andy Speer (@andyspeer)
Our next Athlete on the list is Andy, a New York City-based coach, and instructor. He specializes in Traditional Strength Training, Sports Conditioning and most importantly Gymnastics. Andy started his career into ripped-vil with gymnastics, but slowly progressed into the heavier, strong training when he met the CEO of Performix, Matt Hesse.
Andy’s Instagram account has 59,9k followers and it features stunning photography and lessons. You can also find some fitness classes (with discounts) on there, mostly from Peloton & Performix. Definitely worth a follow, mostly for the genius business decisions he’s made and his overall great ‘body’ of work.
#7 Amanda Sullivan (@crutching_tigress)
Amanda a.k.a crutching_tigress is an inspiration to many and soon, maybe even to you as well. She used to be an aid worker, but after a gruesome car crash, she was left walking on crutches. Now, many people would be crushed and discouraged by this (it’s only normal) but not dear Amanda. She did have her depressed state, but oh did she beat it kicking. She invested her time into doing athletics and was soon running. Now she has completed numerous races and even a marathon.
On Instagram, she has 69,9k followers and her feed is just absolutely filled with positivity. If you’re looking for some motivation or inspiration, I strongly recommend the tigress, she earned her name.
#6 Tracy Anderson (@tracyandersonmethod)
If you’re a mommy trying to stay fit, then Tracy is your girl. Tracy has a killer body and an adorable little angel that can be seen throughout her feed – and she’s making it work; Juggling a little toddler and a kick-ass workout routine. She uses the hashtag #tamily – meaning training family or Tracy family? We will never know.
On her Instagram page, she has 373k followers, which is a staggering number. But I’m sure she has a potential for way more. Her great looks, her amazing body, and her kickass personality create a dream-girl that we, both males & females, cannot adore enough of.
#5 Kenneth Gallanzo (@progressive_calisthenics)
Kenneth is an expert on modern, progressive athletics. As his username suggests, he is especially profound at calisthenics; a form of gymnastics that primarily involves upper body strength gained through performing slow, controlled movements.
On Instagram, Kenneth has 428k followers and they are all well deserved. He has been involved with the callisthenic trend for quite some time now and it especially started trending in 2017. You might even remember some videos of people air walking whilst holding on a poll, well that’s what he does – just better and more complex. I recommend you check him out if you’re into gymnastics and satisfying synchronizations.
#4 Dylan Werner
Do you line Yoga? Do you like Travelling? Well, why not have both! Dylan is a certified, fully qualified Yoga Teacher who loves visiting new places. With just one tap, you can follow him on Instagram and have your timeline filled with not only correct and easy to follow Yoga poses, but also stunning background from all around the world. That’s a great bargain if you ask me.
On Instagram, Dylan has 569k followers, which is a very impressive number. But, from what I’ve seen so far, I can say that by the end of this year, he might even hit his first mil.
#3 Sjana Elise
Based in Australia, Sjana is a Yogi that will bring the Bogi to your timeline. Her elegant poses create a very ‘Zen’ like atmosphere. Enthusing you, almost into a trans-like mood, as you gaze upon the perfect frame of the picture – and not to mention the stunning, even un-human poses.
On Instagram, Sjana has 1,4 million followers. And rightfully so, as her level of Yoga Mastery and Photography, cannot be challenged. I recommend you follow her if you want some free ‘eye candy’.
Yet another mommy with an attitude. Emily is not only a mother, but she’s a new mother – working (and succeeding) at getting her body back to its chiseled state. She’s a great follow for any pregnant woman that wants to stay in shape. She shows you how to do it safely and stay healthy (both you and your little baby).
On Instagram, she has 2,4 million followers. Which is a number with a lot of zero’s? But when you pop a human out of you and still manage to look like a gosh darn Goddess, well you deserve every single follow you get.
= Epic Drum Roll =
The number One spot is reserved for non-other than Michelle Lewin – The woman, the dream, the inspiration. She is the most followed Instagram Influencer on this list with a staggering 13,1 million followers on Instagram. It would take 6,5 times the population of my country to make up those numbers, that’s insane. But when you check her profile out, you’ll know why she’s the one holding this spot. She has an amazing Feed, filled with professional, even masterful pictures. And when you scroll through it, you can see a story unfold – of a woman who spends time and effort, not only on her body but her life as well. If you’re aspiring to be a Fitness Influencer or simple like looking at beautiful human bodies – then she is a MUST follow.
Thank you all for your undivided attention, I hope you liked this ‘episode’ of “Top 10 to Follow” and you might have even found a few new fave Influencers to aspire towards, or simply admire. Stay tuned for the next installment of the series.
